Tiny Gardens

We believe through Tiny Gardens; anybody can grow food anywhere with a bit of creativity and guidance. We offer free tools and resources to educate individuals, families, teachers, schools, and communities on how to grow food even with little space or experience.

Tiny Gardens, Big Revolution

Tiny Gardens is a collaboration between Refarmers and Abundant Earth Foundation. Tiny Gardens are accessible, inexpensive, and create opportunities to reconnect with nature, neighbors, and cultural roots through small-scale food growing.

Project Updates

In partnership with Refarmers and Abundant Earth Foundation, Tiny Gardens have been shared with grandmothers and community members across Kenya. As this project grows we need to establish a part-time staff person to coordinate ongoing marketing, project management, and establishing relationships with local community members. The 2021 fundraiser will enable us to create a stronger foundation and continue providing free access to our educational resources and community partners.

This is just the beginning of our Tiny Gardens initiative with Abundant Earth Foundation! We hope to create a movement around these tiny solutions and resources which are free to use for schools, community centres, clubs and any other community group or individual that wants to get their hands dirty with very little financial input!

There is more to come and we are still working on the tiny-gardens.org website but it’s open and we are getting the ball rolling with this initial fundraising effort!
