Your donation will support the Rooted Connections Centre, an initiative aimed at reviving indigenous knowledge, culture, and resilient livelihoods in the face of global challenges like climate change and societal shifts. We will direct funds raised towards building a centre in East Africa, with Agroforestry Regeneration Communities pledging $6,500 and the Mbura initiative raising $281. The current funding goal of $28,000 will cover site establishment and construction of the multi-purpose workshop area.

Our Consolidated Approach:

We are consolidating fundraising from various platforms into a centralised fund with AEF as the fiscal sponsor. This will ensure efficient resource allocation and accountability, with all proceeds directed towards a single, high-impact goal: building a dedicated training centre.

This multifaceted project encompasses these initiatives:

The Rooted Connections Course – An immersive 2-week program reconnecting participants with their indigenous identity and holistic practices.
The Mbura Initiative – Mapping climate change literacy and promoting adaptive solutions in native communities.
Centre Development – Establishing a physical community space for learning, indigenous knowledge preservation, and community empowerment.
