During this festival, we received feedback from the youth and we had the honor to hear from Bryan Deans of OLCERI and John A Lago Gonzalez of Tierra Nueva, Puerto Rico. We started the April festival by acknowledging and paying honor to the lands we live on and the elder’s past, present, and future.

The Youth Prize has grown! In its third year, the Youth in Permaculture Prize, now £10,000, is open to anyone 25-years-old and under. The main award is £5,000 with two runners up each winning £2,500.

The Permayouth in Kakuma Refugee Camp has shared this amazing new song with the world. It’s their own music and lyrics. Young director Sumaili Nyange has become a local permaculture teacher working with the wonderful Sakina Kiriba and is a member of the Permaculture Education Institute
